Welcome and thank you for visiting Saradale Border Collies' home on the web. I hope you enjoy your visit.
Here at Saradale, I focus on showing and breeding dogs with the ability to excel in all fields of canine sport, paying particular attention to soundness, both in body and mind. My dogs are loved family pets and my puppies are bought up in a family environment ensuring they are well rounded and socialised for their new owners. My dogs carry black, red and chocolate lines and I occasionally have puppies available to the best of homes.
I was first owned by a Border Collie in 2004 when Ned and I crossed paths. Ned was a beautiful black and white boy. He was truely my best friend and we shared so many great times together.
Saradale came about from the names of my two foundation dogs, Glendale Brazen Boy and Sarasota Tame The Wind. Brazen Boy, aka Matador, is my lovely red teddy bear and Tame The Wind, aka Zara is my little Jack-in-the-box chocolate girl. These two dogs stole my heart. Matador in particular with his soft cuddley temperament and crazy antics about how to play fetch. Zara came along a little later with the intent to be my first show dog, but as time and my busy lifestyle had it, that was not to be.
Saradale Border Collies are situated on the outskirts of Townsville by the Ross River. Here the gang enjoys a daily swim in the river and good run around the many parks that are located nearby.
Saradale produced our first litter of puppies in March of 2008. I was blessed with a litter of 6 adorable bundles of joy.
Please come back and visit regularly as I will be updating show results, pictures, DNA test results and puppy news often.
